Entertainment
For entertainment in the St. George area, locals and visitors might want to consider any number of the following exceptional sources of culture and fun:
Tuacahn Center for the Arts produces a number of Broadway musicals in their breathtaking desert amphitheater during the summer, and has presented the regional premiers of Disney's Tarzan, Aladdin, and Mulan. For more information visit www.tuacahn.org.
Yet another opportunity for theatre attendance includes the theatre department at Dixie State University. From August - May, the University's theatre majors perform classic and modern gems of the theatre spanning many time periods, countries, and genres. During the summer, the department hosts Comedy Storm, which was founded in 2009 and produces comedies in repertory. Furthermore, the Space Between Theatre Company provides workshops and experimental productions designed to encourage thought and discourse on current events.
Additionally, there are a number of fun businesses in St. George that provide entertainment. Jazzy’s Rock & Roll Grill on Bluff Street is a restaurant as well as a venue for concerts and open mic nights, while Dixie Bowl and Sunset West Bowling Centers host bowling as well as billiards and other recreational activities. Families frequent Fiesta Fun, a mini-golf course that includes bumper boats, go-karts, and an arcade. Similarly, Laser Mania is a laser tag arena with bumper cars, glow-in-the-dark mini-golf, 4D movie rides, and an arcade.
There are also several Megaplex movie theatres in town that are located at points where St. George meets up with neighboring cities. Pine View Stadium 10 borders St. George and Washington, Sunset Corner Stadium 8 connects St. George and Santa Clara, Main Street Theatre is located in downtown St. George, and Washington Red Cliffs Cinema is stationed behind the Red Cliffs Mall.

There's also talk of a dance club to be built near the university.  Most of St. George's entertainment is experienced outdoors through recreational activities, but if you come across the occasional cold or rainy day, you can also head down to Mesquite to visit a casino and buffet.  Of course, if you are headed south, you can drive one hour further and visit the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas.
