Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park
Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park is located between Mount Carmel Junction and Kanab, south of Highway 89, and features coral-colored sand dunes that are adjacent to red sandstone cliffs. The Park is popular with ATV riders, as the vast majority of the dunes are open for riding, although the entirety of the Park is accessible for hiking and activities such as camping, horseback riding, and photography.
Coral Pink has the additional distinction of being the only major sand dune field on the Colorado Plateau. Furthermore, it offers breathtaking views of Zion, as it is lies southeast of the National Park.
